There are a lot of reasons to travel to Korea. As you know, we are in Asia and have a lot of scenery, things you’ve never seen before. Korea is very small country, but we have a lot of special things.
At first, we have special food that you have never eaten before. If you liked hot and spicy food, you always want to try Korean food. Most of the visitors like Korean food; Bibim-bop, Bulgogi, Kimchi. Also it makes you more healthy.
We have a lot of special activities. We have four distinct seasons, so that you can enjoy a lot of things in each season. Korea is close to the sea. We are connected 3 parts to the sea. Therefore you can enjoy the activities between land and sea.
Korea has a lot of traditional constructure, too. We have traditional parks included kinds of palaces. They give you more comfort and peace. You can recognize the history to see these one.
Because of that, you have to visit to Korea. If you visit here, you can enjoy all of things more than you imagine. It would be a very good experience in your life.

My Dream
When I was young, I wanted to have a lot of jobs in the future. I wanted to be a president, teacher, football player, and so on. When I was a child, I was taller and stronger than my friends, so I was good at all kinds of sports.
At first, I liked to skate (In the Ice-link) when I was 8 years old. I tried to improve at skating. I always run and skated. I attended the ‘Junior Olympic Games’ and I was first place in the race. Actually I got a gold medal!! However, after 6 years, I had a serious problem. I hurt my legs and I wasn’t able to skate anymore.
After that, I was interested in music. I learned to play the piano. When I was 17 years old, I decided to be a composer. Actually when I listened to music, I had a lot of feelings; pleasure, sadness, hopeful, and so on. In order to make good songs I always tried to play the piano. However, it was very hard to me. At last I gave up my dream and found different ways to live.
Finally, I went to the ‘University of Hotel Management’ in my country. In fact, it was very interesting to me. I learned a lot of skills to manage the hotel.
When I’ll be a hotel manager, English skill is very important to me. Because of that I decided to go to America and learn more English conversation. I want to be a good hotel manager in my country. It’s my dream!!

First day in Durham, NC.
In July 24th 2008, I departed from my country to Durham, NC. It took twenty hours to arrive Durham. My friend went out to meet me. And I went to my friend’s house. At first, it was very unfamiliar to the American life style. However, I adapted myself to new life style.
After a day, my friend introduced outskirts of Durham. I tried to get some goods to live. I bought cell phone, bed, and so on. The shopping mall, in front of my house, involved many stores and I was able to buy in the mall.
And I went to the theater to watch the movie. We watched movie that named “Get Smart”. It was a comedy movie in America and although I was not able to understand all of that, it was very interesting to me. After watched the movie, I went to the Electronic shopping mall ‘Best Buy’ and I wanted to buy a cell phone.
When I entered the mall, they said to me that “what kind of phone you want?” so I answered the question “ Do you have any suggestion for me?” and he suggested pre-paid phone, I purchased that one. He was very kind and explained to me about cell phone.
A month later, I went to the UNCG Interlink to study English, and I want to meet good friends in other country and I’m willing to have a good time during this term. Thank you.
